Introduction

Operation: Hellstorm is the 10th Special Event to be presented in War Commander.
In most cases Commanders are challenged to complete increasingly more difficult objectives against one or more Rogue Factions. With the successful completion of each objective in the allotted time the Player is awarded with special Event Experience Points (eXP) which they may in turn use to unlock Special Event Prizes in the Event Shop.
The Event Format for each Special Event may vary, see below for more information.

EVENT PROGRESSION	Wave System	The Player progresses by completing progressively harder defensive waves of Rogue attacks.
eXP SYSTEM	eXP For Waves	Players are awarded eXP for each wave successfully completed.
BONUS eXP	No	There is NO Bonus System in this Event.
PLAYER ASSISTANCE	No	Players can receive no help from allies on defensive waves.
NOTABLE EVENT FEATURES	Verkraft V2 Rocket	On selected Waves players must defend against the Long Range, Laser Guided Verkraft V2 Rocket.

Trivia

• Operation: Hellstorm is the 2nd Special Event to feature the Verkraft as antagonist.
  • The previous Verkraft event was :
    • #05 : Operation: Hellfire ( July 2012 )
• Operation: Hellstorm is the 4th Special Event to be in the Defensive Event Class.
  • Including both runs of Rogue Assault.
• Operation: Hellstorm's use of the V2 Artillery marked the first time a Non-Player Controlled ( NPC ) Vehicle was introduced.
  • The V2 Artillery later became available to players with the introduction of Special Ops in the G. U. of Apr 3, 2014.
  • The V2 Artillery is deployed through the use of the Hand Of God, a Rare Offensive Special Op.
• Prior to the start of Operation: Hellstorm the Event Shop restructured the eXP cost of all current and previous prizes.
  • This would remain in effect until it was again restructured prior to the start of Operation: Inferno ( Dec 2014)
• On the Test Server for Operation: Hellstorm the eXP cost of the Stinger & Hellstorm was 75,000 xp & 385,000 xp respectively.
  • However the player also received a higher amount of eXP per wave, starting 3,250 xp per wave.
