Operation: Aftermath is the 45th Special Event to be presented in War Commander.
In most cases Commanders are challenged to complete increasingly more difficult objectives against one or more Rogue Factions. With the successful completion of each objective in the allotted time the Player is awarded with special Event Experience Points (eXP) which they may in turn use to unlock Special Event Prizes in the Event Shop. The Event Format for each Special Event may vary, see below for more information.
Sector Points ( ) are earned by players in a sector completing one of the 3 Tiers.
Each level of Tier will yield a specific amount of Sector Points that are collectively added to the Sector's total.
The higher the Tier's difficulty the more higher the amount of Sector Points generated for completing the tier. ( Actual amount of points per tier is currently unknown )
When the Sector reaches its goal, Sector Target bases will spawn on the World Map.
These Target Bases are only available for a limited amount of time each spawn
For Operation: Aftermath they will be available for 45 minutes each spawn.
Once the spawn time has expired the Sector Bases will be removed from the World Map.
The Sector Progress is then reset and the process begins again.
If a Sector Base is sucessfully completed the Player is awareded via a Prize Draw.
The Player is awarded eXP for every successfully completed target during an active Event. These points may be tracked by the Player in the Event Panel located above the Mission Panel while both on the World Map and in the Player's Base.
As the Player acquires eXP, they may at any time during and up to 48 hours after the end of the Event, choose to spend all or a portion of their eXP on one or more of the newly introduced Special Event Prizes in the Event Shop.
Some of our aerial units were sent in to investigate the known outposts of the Red Lokust. None of them returned alive but we were able to recover the mounted camera off one. The images have shown us that they have built a new Flak style tank that we are code naming the Skycrusher.
Strange dark clouds are filling the skies. Almost as if someone is dumping smog straight into the air. It's been flowing overhead for the last four days. What is Sasha planning? Perhaps her father has their factories churning at maximum production?
Some of our aerial units were sent in to investigate the known outposts of the Red Lokust. None returned alive, but we were able to recover the mounted camera off one. The images have shown us that they have built a new Flak style tank that we are code naming Tempest.
Rumors have been going around of a Corpus agent that has defected from the faction. His name is Doran. It has been said he escaped with his own custom Nightmare tank. He was the engineer behind many of Corpus' vehicles and would be a valuable addition to our team. We should try our best to recruit him, Commander.
A new year and a new battle. Sasha and Sergey have been a difficult foe, but with the advancements we have collected we should be able to push them back again. Some of our infiltrators have heard musing of the father daughter combo having several heated arguments over their recent losses. Perhaps this battle can put a split between this unholy union.
Great work so far Commander! It's becoming clear that even when joined, Sasha and Sergey are no match for us. Push forward and put the final nail in the coffin.
We did it! The Red Lokust have been defeated. Even our Infiltrators are starting to see the repercussions of our victories in the few remaining bases. Sasha and Sergey cannot seem to agree on anything any longer.
